Mark Zuckerberg’s Pinterest Account Hacked For The Second Time In 2016


This is the second time in a single year Mark Zuckerberg’s Pinterest account has been hacked.

The hackers, know as OurMine, managed to diffuse into Mark Zuckerberg’s account on Tuesday and they changed wordings on his tagline to, “Don’t worry, we are just testing your security.” But the account has been fully restored now.

For the records, the group likes to target top Tech elites

The Notorious group, OurMine has been on the top of the game for hacking accounts of several top executives. It was recorded in June 2016 that OurMine had claimed responsibility of hacking Quora profile of Google CEO Sundar Pichai.


Also, in the past few months, the ground also managed to breach the security of news outlets TechCrunch, BuzzFeed, and Variety.

After hacking Mark Zuckerberg’s Pinterest account in June, the group released that the Facebook CEO used a password as simple as DADADA on his account.

This time around, OurMine told ZDNet that it exploited a Pinterest vulnerability to get hold of the Facebook founder’s account.
