Nokia’s 2017 Flagship phone – Nokia 8, Brief Specs and Review


Who said Nokia is not on its way back to the top?

Recently Nokia released their first Android smartphone the new Nokia 6 licensed under HMD and I bet you it received a nice reception. Nokia 6 will be made available for sale next week but already, more than 250,000 buyers have indicated interest at the Chinese website in less than 24 hours.

This is not an official announcement, it is just a leak, meaning, you are not supposed to know about this phone yet. But thanks to the guy at CES 2017 who made the pictures available albeit the clear warning by the officials that nobody should take pictures of the phone.

The next Nokia flagship phone, Nokia 8, Nicknamed, Nokia supreme was to be announced during the forthcoming MWC but unfortunately, Qualcomm has already showcased this phone is CES 2017 when unveiling their new Snapdragon 835 chipset.

That was where the guy that made this post possible got his hands on the phone and made this quick review available.

The Nokia 8 Reportedly will come in two distinct versions – one with a Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB RAM and a 24 MP OIS + EIS primary camera. A 12 MP selfie snapper and dual front-facing speakers. The Storage is going to be 64GB or 128GB and there will be a microSD card slot for expanding that further.

Then, the other variant is a more affordable version which will come with Snapdragon 821, a lesser camera which has not be specified and 4GB of RAM. In the video below, you will see the placed side by side to each other.

There is no front-mounted physical buttons. It also features a Carl Zeiss optics as some of the old-school Nokia devices.  Also, onboard the Nokia 8 is a small rectangle with HRM written over it looking like a heart rate monitor.

The Nokia 8 will be officially announced at the MWC 2017, so sit tight and wait for it.
