Seems Nokia derives joy in sending us back down the memory lane on various occasions. First with the Nokia 3310 and 3310 3G, now they might have another one up their sleeves.
Along with the Nokia 9, which has been scheduled to unveil along with Nokia 8 (2018) on 19th January 2018. , the Finnish company has decided to attach a new device to accompany the launch.
This device will be called Nokia E71; it is a reincarnation of a Symbian phone smartphone bearing the same name that launched sometime in 2008.
If I can remember vividly, the Nokia E71 was a top-notch Symbian phone with a stainless body featuring a QWERTY keyboard. The 2018 model, according to Nokia will be a 4G enabled feature phone with a QWERTY keyboard (it’s rare to see phones with QWERTY keyboards these days).
The Nokia E71 2018 model will also feature a 3.5-inch touchscreen display that will support a resolution of 480p. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 chipset which will work with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage with a card slot for expandable memory.
Camera wise, it will come with a 3-megapixel rare camera and a removable battery. It’s to arrive in two variants, one single sim, and a dual sim.
This phone will not be powered by Symbian OS like its older model but Kai OS which is the successor of fire fox’s discontinued firefox OS.
Then finally, the price of the phone will be around $150 and the phone seems to be the type that will be available only in selected areas.
Much is known about this device. But as move closer to 2018 and its launch date, more information will be extracted.
