Samsung Wants To Assure Its Users That The Galaxy S7’s Are 100% Safe To use

Because of all the discouraging reports encroaching towards the S7 line of Samsung’s Smartphones, Samsung is turning its attention to them and they want to assure users that – whether they have the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, either smartphone is safe to use.

The first report came from a man who sustained second- and third-degree burns after his S7 caught fire inside his pocket.  He announced that he has plans to draw up a lawsuit against Samsung.

Another incident was reported  by an anonymous tipster who claimed to be an employee of a large U.S. carrier, She alleged a customer arrived to the store and said his Galaxy S7 Edge caught fire.

With the hope to erase any fear from its users that the S7’s might be faulty, Samsung issued an official statement on the matter following the recent reports on exploding battery incidents in recent months. The company acknowledged these incidents, but said it has yet to find any internal battery failure with the phones.

“Samsung stands behind the quality and safety of the Galaxy S7 family,” the statement reads. “There have been no confirmed cases of internal battery failures with these devices among the more than 10 million devices being used by consumers in the United States; however, we have confirmed a number of instances caused by severe external damage.”

“Until Samsung is able to obtain and examine any device, it is impossible to determine the true cause of any incident.”

Giving the already tensed up situation Samsung smartphones are in the market, any additional incident that the S7’s battery explodes might bring more harm to the company at large.
